Inner Peace Mental Health Services is a private psychological clinic based in Cebu City. The company provides expert and compassionate care for people with emotional difficulties and mental health concerns. We also conduct mental health related programs for organizations around the Philippines.

Chen is an award-winning psychologist based in Cebu City. He was awarded as one of the Top Global Mental Health Leaders by the World Health & Wellness- Congress & Awards on November 25, 2020.

He graduated his BS Psychology and MA Clinical Psychology at the University of San Carlos, Cebu City. He is currently finishing his PhD Psychology at Silliman University, Dumaguete City.

In practice, he focuses on using Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy for treating depression and anxiety. Other evidence-based methods he uses are EMDR therapy (for psychological trauma) and mindfulness and self-compassion meditations. He is also a Certified Trauma Counselor by EMDR Philippines.

Chen has been a trainer and Chief Learning Officer of Cebu Teambuilding Facilitators Network (CTFN) since 2016. He enjoys facilitating learning events and workshops to companies. He is also a Board of Director at Gestalt Wellness Institute of Southeast Asia (GWISEA), a mental health clinic located in Cebu City and Talisay City.

He is Certified as a Mental Health First Response (MHFR) Instructor. MHFR is an established method for intervening and preventing crisis and suicidal situations. He conducts mental health awareness seminars whenever he can as part of his advocacy.
